I was proud to accept the proclamation from the Rockville Mayor and City Council naming Sept 11 - 15 National Disability Voting Rights Week in the City.
As a person with disabilities running for office in Rockville I know the disabled community must not be forgotten and should be represented in the decisions the Mayor and Council make.
Inclusivity. Diversity. Representation. Equity. Access. These are just words unless and until we make them a reality in the City.
